HEADLINE: Horizon announces first in-person showcase at Edinburgh Festival Fringe: a curated programme of ten artists making vital, genre challenging work
Horizon – Performance Created in England is back with its second showcase at The Fringe, this year focussing on in-person, tour-ready performance works. Horizon is presenting 10 compelling works from 10 exceptional and diverse artists to an international audience. Often radical and genre-defying, many of these artists are new to The Fringe.
I Was Naked, Smelling of Rain Reviews:
An interview and review with Sung Im Her in
Dance Art Journal.
This was the first Fringe Festival post-Covid and consequently, there were a number of challenges. There were fewer press travelling to Edinburgh for the Festival and no one knew what the situation with audiences would be like. We worked closely with our target audience publications to make sure we were reaching the right people where possible.
We managed to get over 25 reviews across all shows in diverse media for our artists which supports their work and raise their profiles, a key aim for Horizon. Reviews were generally excellent and that showed the calibre of work on offer.
